Spatially modulated polarimetry based on a vortex retarder and Fourier analysis

We report a spatially modulated polarimetry scheme by using a zero-order vortex half-wave retarder(ZVHR)and a spatial Fourier analysis method.A ZVHR is employed to analyze the input polarized light and convert it into a vectorial optical field,and an analyzer is set after the ZVHR to form an hourglass intensity pattern due to the spatial polarization modulation.Then,the input light’s Stokes parameters can be calculated by spatial Fourier analysis of the hourglass pattern with a single shot.The working principle of the polarimeter has been analyzed by the Stokes-Mueller formalism,and some quantitative measuring experiments of different polarization states have been demonstrated.The experimental results indicate that the proposed polarimeter is accurate,robust,and simple to use.     

Electrochemical dehydrogenative N–H/N–H coupling reactions

The N–N bond is present in many important organic compounds, such as hydrazines, pyrazoles, azos, etc. Many methods based on transition metal catalyzed N–N coupling or functionalization of hydrazine have been reported for the synthesis of N–N containing organic compounds. In recent years, electrochemical dehydrogenative N–H/N–H coupling has become a powerful tool for the construction of N–N bearing organic compounds. The electrochemical methods employ electrons as traceless redox reagents instead of chemicals and produce hydrogen as the only byproduct. In this review, we summarize the recent advances in the electrochemical dehydrogenative N–H/N–H coupling reactions with focus on the mechanistic insights and synthetic applications of these transformations.     

大一学生实验室安全教育实效研究*

为考查线上线下混合安全教育模式实施后的实际效果,对天津理工大学化工、环安、机械、材料学院2020级大一学生进行实验室安全知识测试。结果表明:接受线上线下混合安全教育的大一学生安全知识的掌握情况较好;不足之处在于学生普遍对应急处置知识掌握较差。因此,在后续安全教育过程中,仍需进一步优化安全教育内容与模式,全面推进全员、全程安全教育。

Enantioselective Total Synthesis of Pseudopteroxazole and Ileabethoxazole

Enantioselective total syntheses of pseudopteroxazole ( 1 ) and ileabethoxazole ( 2 ) are presented. The two original stereocenters were constructed in excellent enantioselectivity and good diastereoselectivity through Carreira's asymmetric dual catalytic allylation, which shows potential for accessing diastereoisomers at C2 and C3 of 1 and 2 . Cationic cyclizations of 13 and 24 demonstrated an effective pathway for the construction of the opposite configurations at C1 in 1 and 2 . Additionally, an approach for the introduction of methyl at C4 is a feasible solution for structural modifications at C4 in 1 and 2 .     

Co3+-Rich Na1.95CoP2O7 Phosphates as Efficient Bifunctional Catalysts for Oxygen Evolution and Reduction Reactions in Alkaline Solution

Implementing sustainable energy conversion and storage technologies is highly reliant on crucial oxygen electrocatalysis, such as the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). However, the pursuit of low cost, energetic efficient and robust bifunctional catalysts for OER and ORR remains a great challenge. Herein, the novel Na-ion-deficient Na_2−xCoP₂O₇ catalysts are proposed to efficiently electrocatalyze OER and ORR in alkaline solution. The engineering of Na-ion deficiency can tune the electronic structure of Co, and thus tailor the intrinsically electrocatalytic performance. Among the sodium cobalt phosphate catalysts, the Na_1.95CoP₂O₇ (NCPO5) catalyst exhibits the lowest ΔE (E_J10,OER−E_J−1,ORR) of only 0.86 V, which favorably outperforms most of the reported non-noble metal catalysts. Moreover, the Na-ion deficiency can stabilize the phase structure and morphology of NCPO5 during the OER and ORR processes. This study highlights the Na-ion deficient Na_2−xCoP₂O₇ as a promising class of low-cost, highly active and robust bifunctional catalysts for OER and ORR.     

EAST上由垂直不稳定性引发破裂的分析与预测

从EAST 装置2016 年的放电实验中，选取了119 次等离子体破裂放电数据，分析诱发等离子体破裂的原因，发现约60%的破裂是由垂直不稳定性直接引起的，其破裂后将会产生更大的晕电流，从而产生更大的电磁应力损坏装置。对由垂直不稳定性引起的破裂(简称为VID)(72 次放电)进行了研究，建立了分别基于单变量(垂直位移)和两维变量(垂直位移、垂直位移增长率)的预测模型用于对VID 破裂的预测。离线测试表明，基于两维变量的预测模型可以在破裂发生前20ms 给出破裂预警信号，预测成功率达93%。
